Od początku wojny Polska jest wiodącym ośrodkiem udzielania pomocy Ukrainie. Władze w Warszawie przeznaczyły na wsparcie tego kraju już ok. 8,36 mld euro. Polska we współpracy z sojusznikami, partnerami i instytucjami międzynarodowymi chce odegrać znaczącą rolę w odbudowie Ukrainy. Fundamenty pod przyszłe zaangażowanie polskich firm w ten proces przygotowuje Ministerstwo Rozwoju i Technologii.

Ukraina jest teraz naszym 9. partnerem w eksporcie i zajmuje 15. miejsce pod względem importu. W początkowych miesiącach wojny nikt nie spodziewałby się tak dobrych wyników. The outbreak of a full-scale war just beyond Poland's eastern border has united the international community, which has expressed a fierce objection to Russia's aggressive policy. Representatives of the authorities, organisations, companies, but also individuals, have actively joined the relief effort for Ukraine. Orlen, too, has engaged in helping refugees within Poland as well as Ukrainians who have remained in their country.
