Wojna w Ukrainie pogłębiła w Europie kryzys energetyczny. Rosja, która dostarczała na Stary Kontynent znaczące ilości gazu, węgla i ropy, w jednej chwili straciła status wiarygodnego kontrahenta. Koncerny, działając pod presją, w krótkim czasie musiały przestawić się na import surowców z innych, odleglejszych kierunków.

Od początku wojny Polska jest wiodącym ośrodkiem udzielania pomocy Ukrainie. Władze w Warszawie przeznaczyły na wsparcie tego kraju już ok. 8,36 mld euro. Polska we współpracy z sojusznikami, partnerami i instytucjami międzynarodowymi chce odegrać znaczącą rolę w odbudowie Ukrainy. Fundamenty pod przyszłe zaangażowanie polskich firm w ten proces przygotowuje Ministerstwo Rozwoju i Technologii.

Ponad 420 tys. Ukraińców dostało już pozwolenia na pracę według prostszych przepisów. Ponad 14 tys. założyło w Polsce firmy. I to jest ich wkład w naszą gospodarkę

Helping Ukraine is first of all a moral obligation, but also a commitment that we would not be able to meet were it not for the solid foundation of Poland’s economy and the strong financial position of the central bank, for which we have worked diligently over the past years. This hard work and prudence have made Poland a strong state and NBP a strong central bank.

The war in Ukraine has exacerbated the energy crisis in Europe. Russia, which supplied the Old Continent with significant amounts of gas, coal and oil, lost its status as a reliable partner in an instant. The companies, acting under pressure, were forced to rapidly switch to importing raw materials from other, more distant sources.

Poland has been the leading centre of assistance provided to Ukraine since the beginning of the war. Warsaw has allocated approx. EUR 8.36 billion of support. Poland wants to play a key role in the reconstruction of Ukraine in cooperation with allies, partners and international institutions. The foundations for the future involvement of Polish companies in the process are being laid by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.

Over 420,000 Ukrainians have already received work permits under simplified regulations. More than 14,000 have established companies in Poland. And this is their contribution to our economy.
