PK Agarwal, former CTO of the state of California, believes that the Internet of Things will fundamentally change how business and manufacturing will look over the next 2-3 years. Instead of reacting to events, it will be possible to proactively manage them and subsequently automate.
A factory can be more than just modern; it can be smart.
