Polish companies open up to investments in Africa
P olish entrepreneurs and their foreign counterparts are supported by BGK. Currently, this Polish development bank helps companies in export and foreign expansion in 77 markets, 1/5 of which are African.
“We are following the export and expansion plans of Polish entrepreneurs regardless of the industry or location of the project. We also support foreign trade with very promising countries. This definitely includes African markets,” says Krzysztof Senger, Managing Director of the International Business and Cooperation Division at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego.
Africa is a huge continent with more than 1.2 billion people. On one hand, some of the local economies are among the fastest growing in the world. On the other, for many Polish entrepreneurs, this area is still unexplored. Africa’s share in the total export of Polish goods is just over 1 per cent.
