The second half of the 2020s will be a turning point for major investments in Poland. Construction works will begin on a new transfer airport, a high-speed railway line, a nuclear power plant, and further investments in seaports.
Neglected in terms of infrastructure during the People’s Republic era, Poland has made a huge leap forward in road construction over its 35 years of independence. Starting nearly from scratch, the country has managed to build a network of expressways covering over 5,300 kilometres, surpassing the United Kingdom in this respect. Now it is time to further close the gap in transportation, primarily in airport and railway infrastructure.
